I created Scotty's Stories in October of 2007 to chronicle all the unique, funny, and scary experiences I have accumulated in my years as a socially awckward adult male. I write these not from a perspective that you should all feel sorry for me and tell me I'm an idiot, but from a perspective that we are celebrating the passing of a very sticky situation, and looking back in time to laugh at it. I do not start work on a story until all conflicts or consequences have been resolved, and I can look back to laugh at myself. Some of these stories I think have a sort of "legendary" quality to them, and I think are pretty unique experiences which I like to share. Most of them are just funny, some of them are crazy and outrageous, and few of them are things I don't like to think about. But I have them written down as a memento, a reminder that this happened and I am a fucking survivor. As Billy Walsh from Entourage puts it: "I went to war on the battlefield and came back with all my limbs intact and a fucking masterpiece in the can". The battlefields I go on to make these stories are not the war-torn Middle East or the revolution on Trafalgar Square. They are bars, coffee shops, offices, social situations, parties, and any other places where boys and girls go out to work and to play. In addition, I have a book of funny quotes I hear when I am going out to make these stories, which are high-quality entertainment. I write these stories down to inspire discussion, debate, anger (for those who are unable to appreciate or understand my humor) controversy, and mainly laughter and entertainment. I do not expect you all to enjoy this content, but I ask of you to read on with an open mind and make of these stories what you will.
